Evelyns Gaiti / Arka Yoga and Art is offering a Stressless Therapeutic Yoga 4 weeks program which is designed to help reduce children’s stress, anxiety, and worries. Also the program improves self-regulation management, attention, focus, and self-esteem in children. The young children face stress in their everyday routines, at the school, homework, test taking, new school, classmate acceptation, and family interaction. Arka Yoga Therapeutic Program gives your child a constructive tool to use daily under any circumstance. Kids will learn breathing and relaxation techniques. Kids will learn to understand and control their emotions and learn to navigate through them in a positive manner, rather than suppressing them. Kids will learn visualizing and positive affirmation techniques. Kids will learn techniques to improve their attention span and listening skills. Kids will cultivate positive attitudes like compassion, tolerance, group effort, good behavior etc. This program is based on increasing self-awareness through introspection, sensory integration exercises, mindfulness approach, games and fun; where the children connect better with themselves and the world that surrounds them. The program will assist the child to internalize and develop the vision of self-knowledge and self-regulation, applying mindfulness approach and sensory integration, turning it into a positive habit of his/her behavior and growth as an individual. The 8 weeks Stressless therapeutic yoga program must be purchased as a package to maximize the learning process. Individual classes will not be offered as it would reduce the efficacy and sequencing of the program. Some children assimilate all the techniques during the first 8 classes, others may take longer. Parents are able to participate inside the yoga class the last Thursday of each month. Ages 6 years old and up Payment plans available as well
